Manual Downloads

The Vault CLI binary is available for direct download for macOS, Linux, and Windows. Use this page if you prefer not to use the install script, or if you need a specific version for a controlled environment. For most developers, the install script is the faster path.

Latest release

Download the current release for your platform. See Verifying your download to confirm the checksum before installing.

Platform	Download
macOS (Apple Silicon + Intel)	vault-macos-universal
Linux x86_64	vault-linux-x86_64
Windows x86_64	vault-windows-x86_64.exe

Specific version

Replace latest in any of the URLs above with a version like v0.1, for example:

https://download.veevavault.dev/cli/releases/v0.1/vault-linux-x86_64

Verifying your download

Each release publishes a manifest.json alongside the binaries with SHA256 checksums:

https://download.veevavault.dev/cli/releases/latest/manifest.json

Compare the checksum for your platform against your downloaded file:

shasum -a 256 vault-linux-x86_64

After downloading

Make the file executable and move it onto your PATH:

chmod +x vault-linux-x86_64
mv vault-linux-x86_64 /usr/local/bin/vault
vault --version
