Browser Extension Overview

Vault Toolbox is a browser extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge that allows Vault Admins and developers to leverage the power of Vault API through a clean and responsive user interface.

Note

Vault Toolbox is a collection of open-source tools created and maintained by the Vault Developer Support Team. While not official Veeva products, dedicated support for these tools can be accessed exclusively through the Vault for Developers community on Veeva Connect. Vault Product Support cannot assist with these open-source tools.

The Vault Toolbox browser extension provides the following tools:

• Component Editor: View and modify component records in a Vault
• VQL Editor: Send VQL queries and download results
• Data Tools: Count and delete data in bulk
• File Browser: View and manage files in your Vault's file staging and download Direct Data extracts
• Data Navigator: Thoroughly examine metadata for Vault object records
