Browser Extension Permissions
Your Vault user account must have the necessary permissions to use certain tools. See our Browser Extension Quickstart to get started with the Vault Toolbox browser extension.
To use the Vault Toolbox browser extension, your Vault user account must have the following permissions:
| Permission | Access Details |
|---|---|
| API: Access API | Required to access Vault Toolbox and use the VQL Editor |
| API: Metadata API | Required to use the Component Editor and Data Navigator |
| File Staging: Access | Required to use the File Browser, and for Data Tools to post results to file staging |
| Object: Read | Required to use Data Tools to count records and for Data Navigator to view object records |
| Object: Delete | Required to use Data Tools to delete records |
