# Vault AI Agents API Reference

Vault AI includes API support, giving developers the ability to integrate agent capabilities into external applications. For example, a team building a document review pipeline could programmatically trigger agent actions, such as content summarization or compliance checks, enabling end-to-end automation without manual interaction in Vault.
